#Innovate Santa Ana is a technology camp held in cooperation with UCI Women in Information and Computer Sciences and the Santa Ana Unified School District. The workshops are meant to foster a confidence and an interest in computing for girls in middle school. Girls will learn game design through Scratch, robotics with Sphero, coding using web development platforms such as HTML and integrated JavaScript, and electronics through Raspberry Pi. The last day will allow the girls to create their own projects to take home on a flashdrive, with any of the skills learned throughout the camp.

Bytes of Code (BoC) is an outreach program aimed at rising seventh through ninth grade girls in the neighboring communities of Irvine, Tustin, and Santa Ana school district. We will be exposing them to the world of computing by offering them opportunities to learn coding languages, such as HTML and CSS (possibly JavaScript, waiting for confirmation) in a fun environment surrounded by other other girls and taught by near-peers. The program will include visit(s) to high-tech companies in the region so they can interact with the latest technologies and employees to understand potential career paths in the tech industry.

PixelHacks III was founded as the Silicon Valley's first all-female high school hackathon, encouraging girls to solve problems they face using technology. We aim to introduce young women, especially minorities and those from low income communities, to Computer Science and encourage them to pursue it in the future. In the last 2 years, we have empowered over 200 high school women in various facets of tech across the Bay Area. Our event has garnered attention from media publications including Teen Vogue, CSforALL, Code Like A Girl, and Yahoo News.
