During the Anyone Can Code two-day camp for 6th through 7th-grade girls, the program introduces attendees to coding using Google's CS First Scratch curriculum. We incorporate icebreakers, discussions, and Scratch projects to foster engagement, creativity, and community. We will apply the different skills into a final Public Service Announcement (PSA) project around the social issue, “Stress.” Hopefully, participants will be inspired to continue coding after the program is over and maybe even pursue a career in coding!
