More About the Program

Our goal is to provide underserved girls in Orange County with the opportunity to develop an interest in artificial intelligence and gain confidence that they are capable of being successful in this field. Participants will learn about the basic fundamentals of AI and Python programming, and will also be provided with the resources and skills to allow them to develop a passion for this field and feel empowered that they are capable of succeeding in the tech field. These include opportunities such as summer camps, competitions, internships, fellowship programs, and several other useful AI-related resources.

Participants will also discuss the importance and impact of artificial intelligence in our society. They will learn about the significance of diversity and equal representation in the tech field, especially in AI, by discussing the gender gap that currently resides in STEM fields and how it can be improved.
