Students will learn to create their own virtual reality experience using photos they take of surrounding historical monuments and landmarks in the greater Richmond, Va. area. Richmond is known for its’ controversial statues and landmarks. The students will create an audio/text giving additional historical context to their VR experience. Dinner and snacks will be served daily. There will be an exciting giveaway and party on the last day!

Pre Meeting via Zoom 12/13 7 pm : Go over how to take images for VR

Meeting 1 : Intro to VR, historical context to Richmond landmarks, basic VR programming

Meeting 2: Get VR images, begin programming, write script

Meeting 3: Record script, programming, record script

Meeting 4: Work on VR

Meeting 5: Finish VR & Wrap up

Meeting 5 7-8 pm: VR Viewing Party & Reception
