More About the Program

The world of technology is a very competitive, yet very demanding area within our society. Our world is forever advancing in technology, and I.F.I.T. is determined to aid girls with their journey in such an outstanding field. Through I.F.I.T.,participants will be exposed to new career pathways, and explore how computing/technology impacts everyday jobs within our community. I.F.I.T. is a safe place where girls are encouraged to express themselves, and expand their knowledge in computing so that they may be successful throughout their academic and lifetime career. I.F.I.T. will be engaging in areas of computing and technology where women are particularly underrepresented, such as coding, hardware, etc. I.F.I.T. is designed to be both a very social and challenging experience for young girls to better prepare them for their future in technology.
