More About the Program

This camp will introduce girls to computing using fun and hands-on approach. The participants will explore many computer science and programming concepts with tools like Scratch, AppInventor, and Lego Robots. Along with this, the students will be introduced to important principles that will jump-start their interest in computer science. Each girl will be given the opportunity to interact with college students who are studying computer science and female professionals from the industry as well. There will also be a day dedicated to letting the participants demonstrate what they have learned and apply their ideas to a real-world challenge (a Mockathon!) and we will have a field trip to a local IT company.
